Jeremy and I have officially been married for 2 months and 2 days!
We missed our 2 month anniversary, though, because most of my family is sick with the flu.
We've had to take care of the "in sickness" part of our vows twice already in 2 months of marriage. On the first full day of our honeymoon cruise, I woke up feeling like crap - I don't think I ever had a fever, but I had coughing, nasal congestion, fatigue, etc. When we got back on land a week later, I was feeling better, but the cough persisted, and just when it began to subside, now I have the flu.
I am definitely the weakling of this match made in heaven... I feel like I need Jeremy's glasses and some suspenders, that way I can walk around with my Kleenex box and people won't look at me weird. I'd just be some sniffling little geek. That may not have made sense - but in my medicated mind it did :)
Oh, I forgot - when we got back from the honeymoon, Jeremy had a 24 hour bug, which I then caught the following day, so we took care of each other then.
Now that I have the flu - I would love for Jeremy to take care of me, but I would rather him stay away so he doesn't catch it as well. He's managed to avoid it so far, along with Luis, Eric and Granny. However, Alex, Jaime, myself, mom, dad and Grandpa all have caught it. and all I have to say is
Eff you Flu type A!!!
We are, otherwise, doing okay.
Looking forward to tackling our other vows, especially in HEALTH!!!
